Whether you lead a virtual team or work in one, a fundamental understanding of how virtual teams function is a vital skill set for any professional in today’s era of digital communication. A rising amount of companies are relying on virtual employees to not only connect geographically distant intellectual capital but also expedite communication across borders and time zones—while also functioning at low costs. If you want to be competitive in this market, virtual team knowledge is sure shot way of gaining that extra edge.

The virtual work environment is vastly different from the traditional workplace and quite complex. Without proper training and knowledge of a virtual team environment your virtual team may be riddled with detrimental challenges and gaps. The lack of face-to-face communication, the excessive reliance on technology, the varying cultural styles of communication and not to mention, time-zones are all potential problem areas..

So, is it possible to build a high-performing e-team? Can you make a so-so team into a great team? And, can your talent bridge the “virtual” gap?

Yes, yes and yes!

Good virtual management is not a knack. Good virtual teams are not a gamble. They are the result of strong management skills and protocols that we can all learn.

This is why Virtual Team Builders is pleased to present our latest book, Follow My Voice. With this book and our five part webinar series, you can now learn all the essential skills of virtual management from Canada’s leader in virtual teams.
