Building Relationships At A Distance

Professional Development Units (PDUs): This webinar is accredited for .75 Leadership PDUs

The truth is it’s hard for virtual teams to always bond on a personal level with other team members.  Without bonding, the results could be significant. The University of California, San Francisco,  lists some of the common symptoms  of a disengaged team:

▪ Decreased productivity
▪ Conflicts or hostility among team members
▪ Confusion about assignments, missed signals, and unclear relationships
▪ Decisions misunderstood or not carried through properly
▪ Apathy and lack of involvement
▪ Lack of innovation
▪ Ineffective virtual meetings

In this session you will experience innovative team activities specifically designed for virtual teams that will build engagement and increase productivity.

At the end of this session the participants will be able to:

▪ Experience 5 icebreakers
▪ Demonstrate how to use the tools in Web Ex to conduct the icebreakers
▪ Discuss how to choose the appropriate icebreaker activities to meet specific team needs
